HOW TO TRANSFER OR BECOME LICENSED

The process of joining Advantage Referral Service is easy and simple to do, however the forms and fees vary depending on your current license status. Please see the examples and information below to help determine what is needed to join ARS.


CURRENTLY LICENSED WITH ANOTHER BROKER/COMPANY:
OR YOUR LICENSE IS RENEWED/INACTIVE AND BEING HELD BY THE STATE
• FEES
$75 Membership Fee ($75 plan used for example)
$25 State Transfer Fee
Total Amount: $100 (made payable to Advantage Referral Service)

• FORMS NEEDED
Associate Data Sheet
Independent Contractor Agreement
NJ REC Form 002 (if you live out of state fill out page 3)
Have your current broker terminate your license online
If you have your license in hand, complete section 1 and sign the back of the license. Make sure your current broker has signed in section 2. If you have been terminated online by your former broker your license is not needed. If you send us your license you don't need to complete NJ REC Form 002.


CURRENTLY LICENSE IS EXPIRED & INACTIVE AND BEING HELD BY THE STATE:
• FEES FOR SALESPERSONS LICENSE
$75 Membership Fee ($75 plan used for example)
$150 State Reinstatement Transfer Fee
Total Amount: $225 (made payable to Advantage Referral Service)

• FEES FOR BROKERS LICENSE
$75 Membership Fee ($75 plan used for example)
$250 State Reinstatement Transfer Fee
Total Amount: $325 (made payable to Advantage Referral Service)

The state will hold an expired license for two years from the expiration date on the license. If you do not reinstated during this time your license prior to that 2 year period expiring your license may no longer valid. To obtain your license again you will need to take the licensing course and pass the state licensing exam again.

NEW BROKERS LICENSEE
• FEES FOR INITIAL BROKERS LICENSE APPLICATION
$75 Membership Fee ($75 plan used for example)
$270 State License Application Fee
Total Amount: $345 (made payable to Advantage Referral Service)

• FORMS NEEDED

Original Pass Notice - Signed (the one you received when you passed the test)
Original Fingerprinting Form w/Original Receipt Attached
